My cross stitching blog. I have been cross stitching on and off since 1969. In 1969 I did a stamped cross stitch d'oyley under the supervision of my Grandma. Her home was number 78. I spent many pleasant hours at that house as I often went there for holidays as a child. Now I prefer counted cross stitch . Some other crafts keep me busy too

Jane Austen Says
I made this rope handled tray at a Bunnings Ladies Day workshop. Tara Brown from Better Homes and Gardens was a guest, showing us how to make them.
I decided that my cross stitch piece would make it into a nice decorative tray.
It is a pattern by "The Sampler Girl"

Sharing My Tapestries
I started these in the 1980's and got them framed quite a few years later.
They hang in our living room.
They remind me of the diversity and beauty of the Australian flora.
