My cross stitching blog. I have been cross stitching on and off since 1969. In 1969 I did a stamped cross stitch d'oyley under the supervision of my Grandma. Her home was number 78. I spent many pleasant hours at that house as I often went there for holidays as a child. Now I prefer counted cross stitch . Some other crafts keep me busy too

Preparing For Christmas
This Noel Ornament is by Maryse Dupont of Les Grilles de Maryse. I choose a shiny aida to stitch it on and have used "Crescent Colours" hand dyed threads.
I may make it into a hanging.
I am also stiching another one with a slightly different colour combination

I have not posted in a long while. My Dad was seriously ill in hospital and this led to a change in routine for the family. He has thankfully has recovered, is undergoing physio and life is getting back to normal for me.
My stitching progress has been slow however I could not wait to start the "tree" on this project. I had to see what it would look like. So much so, I have still to complete the very last name.
I am not completely happy with the title, so I may change the colour to the pinker toned thread so it will stand out from the green.
