I visited my parents over the last few days, to show Mum the latest progress on this project. So I can now share it here.
I am doing the married names of each person and will put dates and explanations of marriages on the back of the project when it is framed

My Large Stitching project

"Mother's Tree"
designed
by
Marilyn Leavitt-Imblum

I have chosen to stitch the married names of each woman. Thank you to my Mother for the family history information.
This show my progress in June.
2 more generations to stitch, then onto the tree at the head of the design.
I am stitching in a variegated thread by Jennifer Gail from the UK.

Small Stitches

My current stitching consists of a large project and some smaller ones.
Here are some recently completed small ones. Firstly I made a Pirate card for church stall on green aida. Then I made a book mark. I have yet to finish the bookmark with a backing fabric. I am also going to stitch a pirate phrase on the bookmark
.
