ODW December Challenge

The theme for December was" Christmas" and I managed to finish this by the end of December.
It is a design from Jill Oxton magazine Issue 10. I used green variegated thread for the tree.
 I will use it on a card for next year.

ODW November Challenge

This month's topic was "Travel".
I only returned from an overseas trip in the first week of the month and after recovering from jet lag decided to start on this pattern - "Souvenir de France" by Blackbird Designs 2009.
I am determined to finish it soon

Now completed at the tail end of December.

The classics from May Gibbs always have their charm even in modern times

ODW April Challenge on 123 Forum

For the month of April, the theme was," Something that reminded you of April or, seeing Easter fell in April this year, an Easter theme."
I chose a butterfly that is a symbol of the Resurrection. It was a "Cross Stitch Crazy"card  kit.

I stitched a coffee mug I am going to place  on a greeting card.

One Day Challenge on 123 Message  Board.
  I made a quick ornament from Aussie magazine "Cross Stitch Gifts"  (2005 Copyright) and I used a hand dyed thread.

A Freebie design by Caroline Hofstede of Cosmic Handmade (Copyright 2008)  Using a Silkweavers  dyed fabric.
I really enjoyed these  final stitches of the year.
