I visited my parents over the last few days, to show Mum the latest progress on this project. So I can now share it here.
I am doing the married names of each person and will put dates and explanations of marriages on the back of the project when it is framed
My cross stitching blog. I have been cross stitching on and off since 1969. In 1969 I did a stamped cross stitch d'oyley under the supervision of my Grandma. Her home was number 78. I spent many pleasant hours at that house as I often went there for holidays as a child. Now I prefer counted cross stitch . Some other crafts keep me busy too

My Large Stitching project
"Mother's Tree"
designed
by
Marilyn Leavitt-Imblum
I have chosen to stitch the married names of each woman. Thank you to my Mother for the family history information.
This show my progress in June.
2 more generations to stitch, then onto the tree at the head of the design.
I am stitching in a variegated thread by Jennifer Gail from the UK.
Small Stitches
My current stitching consists of a large project and some smaller ones.
Here are some recently completed small ones. Firstly I made a Pirate card for church stall on green aida. Then I made a book mark. I have yet to finish the bookmark with a backing fabric. I am also going to stitch a pirate phrase on the bookmark.
